One day when humans were expanding their territory they found that animals were often in the way. They long argued over this as all the animals went about their normal business until one day it happened. The humans shot most animals down but they didn't die and soon all woke up in different size cages on a loud machine in the sky. Many were scared and went back to sleep hoping it was all a dream but some stayed awake because they did not trust the humans especially after this. Soon they were all shot the same way again and when they woke up they were all spread out on a giant island that was never to be touched by the humans. Slowly they animals evolved and adapted to this new place. The island was basically a bunch of islands all containing different habitats and climates or the different animals with a giant mainland in the middle. It was where all the islands met so of course, it was a mix of all the climates together. Soon the animals began to adapt so that they could go onto almost all of the different areas. Now they begin to make groups of all sorts of animals all over the islands which they have come to call realms.

Basically, a bunch of animals got dumped onto an island which the humans call Anea for some reason and it is a mix of a  bunch of islands with different climates and habitats. Then they evolved and now almost all of them can go anywhere. Now they're making groups called Realms.
